a dark cloud of black necromancy cuts off commucations with the
outside world
- modifies map darkness / visibility / line of sight, cancels the ability to use wards, vision spells
- the place is avoided by the npc as it is now considered an unholy place
- effect as spell darkness, creatures without the ability to see in dark, act as if blinded, their attacks have a chance to miss
- It decreases the attack distance of enemy archers/mages, they can't attack in the dark = provides excellent cover for you to run away = tactical withdrawal tool
- Modifies stealth level, useful to get a few extra hits vs an unsuspecting foe
