Knockback

Knockback Effect: pushes the target backwards for [duration]. [KnockbackSpeed = 1000 ms]
Balance: Knockback distance is measured with the duration the knockback effect lasts
  • When you collide with a solid obstacle during knockback, you take damage equal to the distance you flew, and you are stunned for the portion of the knockback duration you didn't finish
Knockback Enemies Near Gaps: normally harmless, but in this encounter, a knockback risks throwing you off the cliff = death. The strategy is simple, you cannot evade the knockback, your only protection is to keep your back safe. Assuming you face the enemy, a knockback will only knock you backward which is safe if you ensure that there is ground behind your back. The trick is not allowing the enemies to surround you, if they do their next knockback will be chaotic, meaning you don't know which direction it will be = death

Knockback Enemies Near Walls: same as above, avoid having walls on your back

Uses: can be used to throw enemies in lava, chasms, traps for instant kills or to gain distance vs melee enemies.
