Neverwinter Online Foundry Quest: Pure Madness

Traps:

• Slippery Surfaces: all surfaces have low friction, if you move fast, you will be unable to stop your momentum, thus you will fall off the platform and die. counter: move slowly and periodically stop. Patience is a virtue.
• Speed Boost: unexpected boost in movement speed, and forced velocity increase when you are near the ledge of a platform, this can lead to a lot of unexpected deaths.
• Dispel: there is a platform you have to jump towards to, you start running towards it, you are given 4 instances of speed boost buff as you walk towards the platform, the first jump is successful, you are sure you will succeed the next jump, during mid air, you touch Dispel trap, the speed boost buff expires, and you find yourself lacking the extra oomph needed to perform the jump, you fall off to the void and die.
• Illusionary Rocks/Platforms: what a nice shortcut, i will just have to jump to that rock and reach my goal. You thought it was safe to jump? Guess again. It was an illusion, you fall off to the void and die. If you moved the camera near the rock, you would have realised it is a false one, since it becomes transparent then. no need to risk your life.
• Mind the wall: Speed Boost + Illusionary Wall + Spiked Wall Behind = Ouch!!!
• Ambush: After picking the crystal, the guardians spawn, new enemy patrols wandering in the area, your job is simple. RUN!!! Only a fool would fight,.there is no way you can beat them youself.
• Leap of faith: Another one of those traps again, it compels you to jump off the platform. What do you think i am stupid? No thanks, i pass. Actually this is legit, it's not a trap. There is a invisible platform that allows you to walk on the air, just do the jump, ignore your logic, follow your heart.
• Heavyweight Crystal: after picking the crystal from leap of faith you cannot continue flying, that invisible platform you had now disappears, bye bye. who said it was safe.
• There is no escape: The obvious path is not the right one, how to escape ? Picking the crystal from leap of faith spawns a huge jack's beanstalk in front of you. if you follow that path you are doomed. The slope of the rocks you have to climb is huge, you will just fall off due to the slippery surface debuff. What you have to do is to ignore the heavyweight crystal comment which was a false alarm, and go backward the way you come from, a new staircase would have spawned from the place you jumped off. Technically speaking the comment "an invisible platform disappeared" was true.
